Acceptance of Terms
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. They apply to all business carried out by richmondrocks (a UK-based company) and to all users of the richmondrocks website and online shop. By using this Website and/or placing an order, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
Products
The items depicted in the illustrations may not necessarily be the exact product that you will be sent, this is due to the nature of the organic products that we sell. All crystals and minerals are individual in their nature and therefore slight variances in size, colour and shape may occur. However, richmondrocks strives for the highest quality and standard of its products, and will match as close as is feasible to the illustrated item.
Health Warning
Please note that some minerals may be toxic and/or contain heavy metals, and so all minerals should be handled carefully. Never inhale or ingest mineral dust, or lick specimens. Always wash your hands after handling minerals.
A Special Note about Children
Children are not eligible to use our online shop and we ask that minors (under the age of 18) do not submit any personal information to us or use the online shop.
How to Order:
Step 1 Browse the categories on this Website and select the item you wish to purchase by clicking the ‘Add to cart’ button. This will place the specimen in your virtual shopping cart and reserve it for you.
Step 2 Continue shopping if you wish. You can click on the ‘Shopping cart’ button at any time to view the items you have selected for purchase. You may remove any items from your cart by clicking ‘delete item’ below the ‘actions’ title when viewing your cart contents. This will free the item for other customers.
Step 3 Proceed to Checkout. If you are a new customer you will need to register: Enter your Billing and Postage details on the registration form, your email address, and a password that you will remember. **Please note that we will only ship to the verified billing address connected to the credit or debit card, unless a prior agreement has been made. Click ‘Checkout’. Please check all details regarding your order are correct. Should you wish to amend any information, go back to the ‘Shopping cart’ to alter any details. An email will be sent to you to confirm registration.
Step 4 Choose your delivery method. We have two types of delivery method: recorded delivery and special delivery. The delivery cost will be calculated for you. For further information regarding costs and discounts on delivery please see Shipment and Delivery.
Step 5 Choose your payment method. We offer two payment options:
Provide your payment information over the telephone - this enables you to call us and provide your credit card or debit card information over the phone, or you may request that we contact you for your card details. You will be able to call us between 10.30am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
Purchase using your credit or debit card - After verifying your order information and clicking the 'Continue' button, you will be directed to our online processing partner's secure site to enter your payment information. Once your payment information is entered and verified, you will be directed back to this web site for your order confirmation.

In future visits you will be able to use your email address and password to login and your details will be remembered for you. If you are a returning customer you will already be registered. Enter your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, follow the links and it will be emailed to you. Your details will be displayed, and you will be asked to check them. Please make any edits and click on 'Update' then click 'Proceed'.
Online Orders
When you place your order online we will send you an email to confirm that we have received it. This email confirmation will be produced automatically so that you have confirmation of your order details. The fact that you receive an automatic confirmation does not necessarily mean that we will be able to meet your order. Once we have sent the confirmation email we will then check availability. If the product is available and the details of the order are correct, we will process the order and deliver the items in accordance with our shipment terms. If the Product is not available we will let you know by email or by telephone.
Please do not email or fax your card details to us as we cannot guarantee their security. Please give them to us directly via telephone only. Please note that we will only ship to the verified billing address connected to the credit or debit card, unless a prior agreement has been made. For returning customers, your personal information (name and address) is stored on our system and accessed via your username (email address) and password to save you re-entering the information. Please note that, as an extra security measure, we do not store any of your payment or card details, therefore you will need to give us these details each time you make a purchase. Please note that your item(s) will be reserved for 48 hours only, if we do not hear from you with your card details within the 48 hours we will be unable to reserve your item(s) and they will go back for sale.
richmondrocks may cancel any sale and not supply products if it is reasonable to do so and may change or discontinue the availability of products at any time at its sole discretion. If an order is cancelled, any payment made for the products will be refunded in full. This does not affect your statutory rights. We might combine two or more orders from the same recipient for convenience and price reasons.
Price
For individual customers, the prices on the website include VAT (17.5%). If the error has occurred with the price, and if the order has been completed we will contact the customer with the contact details given and refund the difference. If the price has been calculated in error and the order haven't been completed, we will contact the customer, and either cancel an order, or adjust the price, to reflect an accurate price of products. richmondrocks reserves the right to change the price of the products listed on the website at any time, and without prior notification.
Payment
For orders made through this website, we accept all major credit/debit card payments made online and over the telephone. It might take up to five working days to debit your account after receiving your order. The customer have to be authorized to use the payment method that is used for the order processing. richmondrocks reserves the right to decline an order if the card details does not match the customer details.
Full privacy will be taken to ensure your payment details are kept only for the order purpose. All your card details are encrypted as they are sent over the Internet.
We have no control over you credit/debit card issuing company's actions and thus, the debit/credit company might decline the payment. In this event, you will be notified of the declined order.
Shipment and Delivery
richmondrocks will deliver the products in accordance with the customer's chosen method of delivery. We cannot guarantee that your order will arrive within the stated time and day. richmondrocks cannot control the actions of the third party (logistics company) involved in the order shipping. All orders (except orders that include premium products) under £75 (exc. VAT) incur a minimum delivery charge of £2.50 (recorded delivery) and £8.00 (special delivery) and will be calculated based on the product weight. If the combined price of an order is equal or greater then £75 (exc. VAT), and the order does not include a premium product, there is no charge for shipping. We reserve the right to change the delivery charges without prior notification.
Return Policy
If for some reason you are not satisfied with the product, you must fill the Return Form, which can be downloaded below and return the item together with the form within 7 days of receiving your order. Items must be returned in a new or unused condition, either in the same package or of the same standard of packaging that it was sent. The customer is responsible for the safe return of the product. Please insure the package for the full value of the item(s) being returned; as you are responsible for the full value of the items should they be lost or damaged during return transit. We will refund the cost of the items but the shipping is non-refundable. If the product is faulty/damaged (due to manufacturers fault) you can return the item within 3 weeks of receiving your order together filling the Return Form, and we will refund in full or exchange the item at your convenience. The shipping is non-refundable.
